Terrain Park Safety Education Program
With the incredibile popularity of all the new features in our Terrain Park located on Look Mom trail this season, Wachusett has implemented a Terrain Park Safety Education Program. This new policy is designed to provide a safer environment for all riders and skiers in the alpine park.
The new policy includes 4 basics. All park riders and skiers must:
1. Watch a new "Smart Style Safety Education Video" which will be available in a designated area near the ski patrol building at the top of Minuteman Quad Chairlift.
2. Pay a one-time $5 Park Pass fee. Pass must be renewed each season.
3. Sign a registration form indicating you have seen the new video.
4. Receive and show when entering park a "Park Pass" Card indicating they have completed the new safety education program.
Skiers and riders who do not complete the Smart Style Education program may use the smaller terrain park features located on Hitchcock trail and in other locations around the mountain. The park pass was introduced in response to customers' requests. Our goal is to increase safety by limiting access to the terrain park to those skiers and riders who have the skill necessary to safely navigate the park and its features. |
